English as an Additional Language (EAL) Program

Spring Parks Primary School offers an enriching and supportive program for students learning English as an additional language.  The program focus is on the four macro skills of language: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.  At Spring Parks Primary School, EAL classes have a strong emphasis on oral language development.  Students are provided with opportunities to learn, rehearse and practice new vocabulary, phrases and pronunciation.  The EAL program compliments the work of the classroom teachers by providing intensive instruction and revision for new English language learners.
